Financial Aid - Summer Games 2023

This is a form to collect the necessary information needed to provide financial support for Millbrook Band Members living outside of Colchester County. Please Note there will be a processing time for payments, but we will be doing our best to expedite the process.

Financial aid will be $500 per athlete up to $1000 per household.

St. Anne's Day

You may have heard that for this year’s St. Anne’s Day, Millbrook Fisheries is providing lobster to Millbrook community members.

For Sheet Harbour and Beaver Dam Residents, Millbrook Fisheries will be distributing lobster at the Sheet Harbour Wharf between 4-6 pm. Questions? Contact Carla Asprey at 902-324-8859.

For Cole Harbour residents, Security Worker Wayne Publicover, can deliver lobsters to Cole Harbour residents between 5-7 pm. Questions? Contact Wayne at 902-240-0993.St. Anne’s Day communal lobster hosted by Millbrook Fisheries - Update for Cole Harbour Residents

Wayne will also be at the Cole Harbour A-Frame between 6:00 pm-7:30 pm for Millbrook members to pick up lobster. Wayne will still try to deliver to on-reserve members prior to that time. Lobster will be available at the A-Frame from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm until supplies last.

MAGIC MOUNTAIN UPDATE - DAY TRIP #2 IS ON SUNDAY JULY 30, 2023

Please read ALL information below

 *** Sign-up is first come, first serve basis until all 250 spots are filled for the second day at Magic Mountain (open to all Millbrook communities / members), Millbrook -- Cole Harbour -- Sheet Harbour –- Beaver Dam

    • Sunday July 30th, 2023 -- day trip # 2

    • If you already signed up for day 1, you cannot register for day # 2 (tickets are non-transferable OR refundable to Millbrook Administration Office if you register and are a no-show) 

  • All sign-ups will be completed by Eventbrite - you will be directly emailed a link once you leave us your email and phone number below (If you have already filled out the full form on this website, you will be required to fill this out again when you receive your Eventbrite link - sorry for the inconvenience!) :

    • If any child is UNDER 36” in height

    • If you are driving or utilizing the provided bus transportation

      *** Only if you receive a confirmation thank you response, your name / family has been signed-up

  • Waterpark -– Splashzone day pass is for people 36” + in height (kids under 36” will not need a ticket) 

    • *** Any sign-up participants must notify if the height of the child is UNDER 36” (we need to know this for the day pass count)

    • If you do not stipulate this in your sign-up email, you will not be emailed a confirmation response

  • Transportation will be provided by bus –- departing from Millbrook, GYMNASIUM

    • Pick-up time: 9 a.m. *** Please arrive at 8:30 a.m. to situate belongings and passengers

    • Last call to depart from Magic Mountain (collect items, change clothes and head to bus): 5 p.m.

    • Departure time: 6 p.m. (drop-off at Millbrook, GYMNASIUM approx., 8 p.m.)

  • Lunch will be provided via voucher at Magic Mountain

  • Deadline first come, first serve –- no exceptions

  • Anyone attending this day trip and traveling from Cole Harbour OR Sheet Harbour can advise Kalo a'n Corbin (CA) via email ccorbin@millbrookfn.ca after the day trip is over. A $25 gas reimbursement will be provided (per vehicle)

  • There will be NO chaperones/staff liaisons, all kids under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 16 years old.

 

2nd Annual Millbrook Public Safety Bike Rodeo

The 2nd annual Millbrook Public Safety Bike Rodeo will occur this Friday, May 19th, 2023, in the Millbrook Health Center parking lot from 4 pm to 7 pm. We will be providing free BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs, plus plenty of prizes to give away, which include 36 bicycles and helmets, come out and enjoy an afternoon of safe bicycle riding and learning. Food Safety Training Course

 There will be a Food Safety Training Course for all Millbrook employees and community members who are interested.
