The Millbrook Housing Department would like to communicate the following amendments to the Housing Policy:

Amendment Number | Approval Date |
Description.

#1| May 9, 2023 |
If an adequate primary residence is disposed of by the applicant or spouse, they are not eligible to apply for Millbrook housing for one (1) year from the date of the closed sale.

#2 | June 13, 2023 |
Appealing an Eviction policy. Including: Appealing an Eviction, Grounds for an Appeal, Submitting an Appeal and Last Chance Agreement.

Anyone interested in applying for housing will have to submit a new application. Any applications from April 1, 2022-March 31st, 2023, will no longer be eligible. Please submit your new application after April 1, 2023, the applicant is required to provide a new application if any information changes.

 The Housing Department recently allocated multiple housing units, including family units, single-family units, and an apartment. The housing units that have been allocated include,

  • 364 Abenaki Road- Apt D, Millbrook, NS

  • 44B Fern Drive, Millbrook, NS

  • 1-15 Gerald Avenue, Millbrook, NS
