Millbrook Technologies specializes in the design, development and delivery of customized courseware utilizing the internet as the medium to deliver the training. Millbrook offers significant cost savings and enhances a companies ability to train their staff. A unique learning management system that provides an engaging learning environment has been embraced by governments, organizations and the private sector. Millbrook Technologies Inc. has successfully designed and developed a nationally endorsed Aboriginal Culture and Awareness online program, the program now being used by the Province of Nova Scotia for their Public service Employees, for Tim Horton's and organizations across the country. In 2008 Millbrook Technologies working with subject matter expert, Dr. Larry Thomas, introduced "Effective Board Governnance" a program now being offered to the 160,000 non profit boards in Canada. In 2009 Millbrook Technologies has built for the Chiefs in Ontario an online "Cultural Competency" program, the first of its kind addressing cultural concerns and practices for health care workers. Millbrook Technologies has championed a Pan Canadian Partnership that includes the Center of Suicide Prevention, the AFN, the National Aboriginal Health Organization, and many others to provide the first ever aboriginal designed intervention and prevention strategy entitled "River of Life". This program is supported by an AFN resolution, and both the Metis and Innu leadership. In partnership with the Glooscape Heritage Center, Millbrook technologies Inc. will offer a special "Aboriginal Awareness for Youth" program that will be launched in March of 2010.
