Clara Gloade
Clara Gloade has served the council for 24 years, and served as Band Manager for 23 years. Clara has lived in Millbrook all her life and served her community as a Sister of the Congregation of Notre Dame.  Clara has worked with the Native Womens Association of Nova Scotia in the capacity of President of the organization. A member of the Pow-Wow and Elders committee and active within the community on various profiles. Clara takes a leadership and advocacy role in the protection of the rights of those considered section 6-2 of the Indian Act. Often a guest speaker Clara speaks openly about violence against women and pro-active with Sisters in Spirt campaign across Canada.
